AVOID THESE HORRIBLE SKIN SIN FOR A FLAWLESS YOU

Everybody wants to look their best all the time, be it at home or outdoor. But having a flawless glowing skin means you need to maintain a lot of dos and don’ts starting from your eating habits to that of skin care tips. Remember a radiant youthful skin signifies that you are in good health.
If you want your skin to look great well into your old age and do not want to look patchy or dry, avoid these common bad skin habits:

Not washing your face before bed: Many people skip washing their face at night due to tiredness which is bad for your skin. Not removing your makeup can lead to clogged pores and zits, especially for acne-prone skin. When we sleep our body temperature increases slightly boosting the absorption of whatever is there on the surface.

Wrong face wash/water: Rinsing your face with icy cold water won’t help you tighten your pores and using hot water can dehydrate skin though it may feel good. So lukewarm is best. If you have skin redness, wash it with cool and not cold water as that will help constrict bold vessels. Most importantly, you should know your skin type to get the correct treatment and cleanser for our skin.

Hot showers: Although it may feel good to take a hot shower, it can also damage the facial skin seriously. The skin on the face is very delicate and sensitive and warm water can weaken the capillaries causing a redness and dry skin. Always take care of your face whenever you plan to treat yourself in a hot tub.

Smoking: Smoking is not just injurious to health, it is also the biggest ever skin vice. Smoking accelerates the wrinkle process by damaging the skin and delaying the repair of your skin as it reduces blood flow in the skin. Research says that smoking can add in an extra 2.5 years of age. So, if you do not want to look old, quit now.

Alcohol: Excessive alcohol consumption can dehydrate the skin and remove its natural oils, leaving it tremendously dry. Alcohol can also make small facial blood vessels called capillaries dilate and they can burst causing permanent damage.

Skipping sleep: Sleep deficiency can cause stress, which in turn can aggravate your skin conditions like acne, eczema and psoriasis. It is recommended to get 7-8 hours of sleep a night. At night the body repairs the cell damaged caused during the day and the skin renews itself.

Dirty makeup brushes: Avoid using used dirty makeup brushes as this can lead to acne because of bacterial infection. Wash your brushes using a gentle shampoo at least once a week and let it dry overnight.

Over exfoliating: While you should exfoliate your face to remove the dead cells regularly; too much exfoliating or harsh cleansing can worsen breakouts and exacerbate oil production.
